Weekly Wrap Up #55: 2 Month Reading Slump Over?

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Haven’t really made any progress on this, still at page 70 though, maybe I’ll finish it this week? Who knows.

Aaah this is a reread, book 2 in the Chicagoland Vampires series, I may finish it tonight we’ll see. I tend to devour these books in one sitting haha.

What is this?! Yes I finally finished reading this book, whilst I thoroughly enjoyed it, I did feel like it didn’t need to be quite so long. Still, I’ll be working on my review for this shortly.

This was a reread for me but my god did I need this, it was also part of Dewey’s Readathon which I took part in. So I’m quite happy I managed to finish a book.

life updates

Eeek so I handed in my first assignment of the college term, and I’ve already got another one which I’m both excited about and scared cause there’s a 10 minute presentation to the class involved. I don’t to presenting to classes…*runs and hides*

Blogoween is well over half way through now, and sadly I am actually going to away due family circumstances from this Fri 26 till possibly Tues 30th. So I won’t be online for two of my host days *sniffs* sadly there’s nothing I can do about this guys, but my prompts are done and everything is mostly ready to go.

I’m considering switching up my wrap ups, in that switching to Monthly Wrap Ups. I’m not sure what I’m going to do, but this could be the last weekly wrap up you see for a while whilst I figure things out.

Ah how’s your week been? I also seem to be coming down with a cold, at the moment I have a sore throat. Also my gum is hurting thanks to a rude wisdom tooth *sighs*

  1. I can’t wait to know your thoughts about THUG. And I am so glad that you enjoyed CoBaB. It is so good but yes, agree that it is little lengthy.
Good luck with the presentation. And sorry about your family problems but I hope everything settles down soon.
It’s okay to skip weekly updates. Monthly wrap-ups are also fine, I used to do them 🙂
I hope you have a lovely week ahead.

  2. Ohhh good luck for the presentation and assignment!! I hope you do AMAZINGLY (although I know presenting is kind of terrifying so *sends extra chocolate*) And also don’t get sick!! I should probably send virtual soup instead of chocolate then but pfft. Chocolate cures all.😂💛And I’m looking forward to your review of Children of Blood and Bone (it was a bit long for me too haha).

    • Ah thanks Cait! I found out this week we’re not doing the presentation part till after the deadline which is…its good and not at the same time. *eats chocolate gratefully*

Yasss that’s on my to do list, to write the review for Children of Blood and Bone hehe, don’t get me wrong it’s a great book and I enjoyed it. But erm…I did feel like it could have been maybe 100 pages less?
