life updates

Blogoween has been going for a week already?! Say whaaaat? I’m just as baffled as you guys, I’m also eternally grateful for all those who decided to sign up. You guys truly blew Sam and I away with how many have signed up, for the first year we run this event.

I’m also slightly behind with blog hopping to all your blogoween posts. But I’ll do my best to catch up ❤

This week has been different, in terms of me doing a wee bit of self reflecting, learning to stop fighting myself at every turn. I’m going to do a post at some point where I’ll explain more, about what I’ve been up to but in a nutshell: I’ve started journalling, I’m in the process of trying to organise myself, my life and the blog, I’m trying to reconnect with who I am and where I want to be/go. I’ve been watching a lot of Kayln Nicholson’s videos and I just…they’ve really helped me address a lot of things already. You know how we sometimes want to wait for this ‘right moment’ to do things?

There’s never going to be a ‘right’ moment – we just have to stop procrastinating and actually tell ourselves that it’s time to get moving. That project we want to start won’t start itself sooo there’s that, I’ve also been blog hopping to the blogoween posts.

So…my wrap ups may be getting a few more sections added we’ll see what happens.

  1. CHLOE WHO ARE WE EVEN. Aren’t you usually caught up and I’M the one that’s behind? Somehow we’ve swapped? I don’t know how that’s even happened?

Journaling is amazing and helped me get through 2016 because I would just talk about all the things that happened – good and bad and muse on it and reflect. Honestly, I don’t think I would have gotten out of my slump of sorts otherwise, haha. I DO need to get into a habit of journaling more… even though I’ve moved it to an app rather than a Word Document (oh shit, it’s on my old computer that my mom has omg omg omg okay but it’s password protected life is good no big deal I’m not freaking out in your comments section). 🙈

  2. Your self reflection has made me realize that I’m doing that thing where I’m waiting for the right moment. And you’re absolutely right, there isn’t one. You just have to go and MAKE it the right moment. I’m so glad Blogoween is doing well, super happy and proud of you!

    • Aaaah I’m glad my self reflection helped you. I used to be waiting for that ‘right’ moment, thinking that there’d be a right time to start but…there’s not. You just have to breathe and go for it and remember to swim, tread water and not drown.

Yasss we’ll MAKE our own right moments.

Eeeek thank you Vee ❤ I'm happy Blogoween is doing well too xox

  4. Okie, so I got a bit hyper with the previous comment and accidentally pressed post a bit too quickly..

Thug is sooo good! I remember finishing it in a sitting and I am glad you are enjoying it! I will check out those videos myself, I could do with a bit of reflecting on my life atm.

    Good luck for Blogoween ❤️
