Where do you typically write your blog posts?

At my desk in my other room…I have two rooms. My bedroom and then my office kinda room, my books are in my bedroom though.

How long does it generally take you to write a book review?

A review usually half an hour to write and 5 mins to format, a review and discussion is often 45mins to an hour to write and another 10 or so minutes to format it.

When did you start your book blog?

16th August 2017…I nearly waited a day to start on an odd number but decided not to. I can cope with it being even haha.

What is the worst thing about having a book blog in your opinion?

The pressure I put myself under. No one else puts me under this pressure, just me. I tend to just give myself schedules and tasks then eventually I procrastinate I start stressing, panicking and yeah. It’s a problem but I’m working on it, I know I can find a balance for my blog and stress levels as I’m at college, I read and write too.

What is the best thing about having a book blog in your opinion?

Talking about books, and other things in a space that’s mine. Also being able to customise my spice to how I like it, and the friends I’ve made thanks to being a book blogger.

Which blog post have you had the most fun writing so far?

Ooooo that’s a good question I have a few I think, lemme see. Probaby my Thursday Talks #4 where I show you guys some of my artwork, both hand drawn and digital. That was fun to write.

What is your favourite type of blog post to write?

Any type of discussion post, whether it’s Monday Musings, Thursday Talks, Bookworms Explained. I love them so much, I just love discussing things really, don’t get me wrong, review are great too but discussions are my favourite type of post to write.

When do you typically write?

Technically I write throughout the day. So what I tend to do, is I’ll write a blog post just the content, then I’ll either go write another blog post or I’ll go some writing. Then when I go back I’ll usually write another blog post if I didn’t already, go back and format the one from earlier, then format the most recent one.

That’s typically how I do it, I take breaks in between my writing of blog posts. But I’m writing this at nearly noon, I also write posts in the afternoon, evening and night. I don’t do mornings so erm…yeah usually I’ll be asleep unless I have college.

Do you review every book you read?

No.

If I haven’t taken notes for some reason, then I won’t review it as I’ve got a shockingly bad memory. Or if it’s a book part way into a series or the last book in the series I won’t review it then. I’ll wait till I reread it again and review the whole series.

How do you write your book reviews? With a cup of coffee or tea? With Netflix? Cuddled with your fur baby?

Don’t have Netflix and Zephy is usually with my mum. So I’m left with my tea and usually I’ll have the radio on. I can’t write in silence, it’s weird.

When do you write your book reviews? Right after finishing the book? Two weeks after finishing the book?

It really depends. Some reviews I write shortly after finishing them, mostly though it’s anywhere from a month to 3 before I write a review. I have written the review and discussion for Caraval though, but that’s not going up till June. And I still have to write the review and discussion for Percy Jackson (bk 1).

How often do you post?

Oh lord, posting schedules. Well in April I lost the plot and was posting at least once everyday, I missed two days that month where no post went out. This month I’ve cut right back to 4 days. I may at times double up on posts but I won’t post on any other day now. I just needed to remember to not stress myself out for no reason.

    1. Aaah I can’t do it with movies but nature sounds are great, I just like lyrics hehe, so I’m having mini lip sync and dance sessions whilst writing posts and my stories xD it’s a sight for sure haha and no worries can’t wait for your answers! hehe x

  1. Thanks for the tag, Chloe! These questions sound fun, so I’ll probably get going on it… eventually… haha. I used to review every book I read, but after 2016, I just stopped with reviewing every book because I just didn’t feel like blogging? I’m still recovering from that catastrophe even now, though I’m slowly getting back into it when I have the time to do so. I actually have nothing on when I do blogging things, though sometimes I’ll listen to music on my phone while commenting (requires less thinking, XD).
