Ice Cream ~ Book Tag

Whoo another tag! I know, I know I’m obsessed with book tags. I just like collections and book tags happen to be a collection of mine haha.

Peanut Butter: A very long book series that you probably won’t read and why

Game of Thrones by George R Martin, I mean I attempted it once, started the first back that was lent to me from one of my best friends. But I was just confused, there were too many characters and too much for me to keep up with. Honestly think if I were going to enjoy this story I’d have to watch the TV series.

Chocolate: A book/series that you would read again and again and again…

I feel like I always say The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare so I’m going to pick another series I’d read again and again: The Darkest Minds series by Alexandra Bracken. I just love that series, and I really can’t wait to actually buy it so I can reread it.

Pistachio: A book with a green cover

Mystic by Alyson Noel which is the third book in the Soul Seekers quartet, personally I prefer the Soul Seekers series over her Immortals series – it’s just written better and is more interesting.

Strawberry: A book with the cutest romance

I mean you expect me to pick just one? I have several cute romances that are in several different books, ok it’s not your typical ‘cute’ romance but Merit and Ethan from Chloe Neill’s Chicagoland Vampires series, I love their romance. I also love how she developed them as a couple and as individuals. I just love their romance it’s great.

Lemon: A book with a sour ending

Hmmm, I’m not sure really I’ve read books which are sour in general and I didn’t like them but no one book really pops to mind with a sour ending. Oh wait…sour ending Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare. It’s sour, because I’m not happy about it. If you’ve read it, you’ll know why…I’m not over that.

Mint: A children’s book that you like

The Charlie Bone series by Jenny Nimmo – I need to reread that at some point, it’s a great series it’s what I read with my mum when I was a kid.

Vanilla: Your Favourite Classic

I don’t read classics…I’m hoping to slowly change that but I do want to A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens  only because it’s mentioned in The Infernal Devices, I also have two other classics that I’ve owned for ages, that I need to try and read at some point.

Whipped Cream: A very long book that you read really fast

I mean I read both Lady Midnight and Lord of Shadows really fast. I think they each took roughly 6/7 hours, which is pretty good for me.
