The Chocolate ~ Book Tag

This tag was found HERE on wattpad, and it’s a chocolate one! I do love chocolate, I prefer milk and white to dark though.

Dark Chocolate: A book that covers a dark topic (like abuse, murder, bullying etc.)

Oooo I do read a fair amount of dark stuff, I just sort of gravitate towards it. I think I’m going to go with The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed (my Review and Discussion) it’s not exactly a dark topic, more like a hushed up topic that’s kept in the dark. Rape, sexual assault but also it’s a book that deals with this in a very open, honest and raw way. Check out my Review and Discussion above, for more information on this book.

White Chocolate: Your favourite light hearted humorous read

Hmm Sarah Dessen books, they’re light but do deal with serious stuff sometimes which I like. Also I keep meaning to buy her books so I can read them all over again, *sighs* I need a house of my own just for books.

Milk Chocolate: A book that has a lot of hype around it that you’re dying to read

I’m an odd one, I don’t actually pay attention to the hype as such, the books I read could have been published 6 years ago, or more, I tend to pick up what I feel like reading and what intrigues me. Of course thanks to book blogging and BookTube I’m more up to date with what books are coming out when. So probably the first book in The Last Hours series by Cassandra Clare (I HAVE TO WAIT TILL 2019!) There’s not a lot of hype yet…but I’m pumped for it. As it takes place after The Infernal Devices and it’s featuring Will and Tessa’s kids and like…can I please have it already!

Chocolate with Caramel Center: Which book made you feel all gooey in the middle when you were reading it?

Gooey? I mean if you mean a broken heart, that’s just laying on the floor then sure, but erm I have swoon worthy moments, cute moments and there’s a lot. Possibly A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas has the most swoon worthy moments and I want to be part of that squad so bad.

Wafer free Kit Kat: A book that surprised you recently

Wafer free Kit Kat’s…not sure they exist but alright. A book that did what recently? Surprised me? Ha, if I say Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare and leave it that, does it hurt? Yeah…it wasn’t a total surprise since I read the back page before hand (yes I’m awful to myself!) but man…I’m not over it yet. I’ll never be over it.

Snickers: A book or series that you are going nuts about

Oh god let’s see…The Infernal Devices I’m constantly going nuts about, in general I’m just nuts. Books just make me worse haha.

Hot Chocolate with Cream and Marshmallows: What book would you turn to for a comfort read?

The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. Are we seeing a pattern here? Yep, I am in love with this series and always will be.

Box of Chocolates: What series have you read that you feel has a wide variety and a little           something for everyone?

Honestly I’m going to go with The Dark Artifices by Cassandra Clare, the only problem is you can’t start on that series. Nope you gotta start with The Infernal Devices and so on. But it’s so worth it!

And that’s another tag down. Enjoy your day!

    • The Nowhere Girls was amazing! Read it in two days, as for Sarah Dessen: Just Listen, Along For The Ride, Lock and Key, The Truth About Forever are a few of my favs. I intend to reread them though and write a review and discussion since it’s been a while since I’ve read them like over 3 years. Thanks for commenting and glad you enjoyed the post!
