Taylor Swift ~ Book Tag

Fun fact, I love Taylor Swift. Maybe not all her new stuff, but I did love her old stuff the country stuff. Anyway lets get on with the tag, I found it again at The Book Nut hope you enjoy guys.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together: Pick a book or series that you were pretty sure you were in love with, but then wanted to break up with.

The Immortals by Alyson Noel – at the time I loved it but by the end of it I was like 50/50 with it. And now I feel like it wasn’t her best works, her Soul Seekers series on the other hand A-MA-ZING!

Red: Pick a book with a RED cover.

Erm the spine on this book is sorta red, closest I could get to and that is The Bricks that Built the Houses by Kate Tempest, a book I have yet to read. But need to at some point.

The Best Day: Pick a book that makes you feel nostalgic.

The Charlie Bone series by Jenny Nimmo as it was the series I read as a kid instead of what everyone else was reading aka Harry Potter (I haven’t read HP and nor do I intend to anytime soon.) Just so many memories from reading that series, I miss being a kid where things were easier.

Love Story: Pick a book with forbidden love.

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare. I mean need I say anymore?

I Knew You Were Trouble: Pick a book with a bad character you couldn’t help but love.

Kaz from Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo. He’s just so not boyfriend material, but it makes me want him even more. Actually I’d rather he and Inej become a thing haha.

Innocent: Pick a book that someone ruined the ending for.

Ironically I ruin it for myself sometimes, I have a really bad habit of reading the back pages of the book before finishing it. So erm yeah…

Everything Has Changed: Pick a character from a book who goes through extensive character development.

Erm lets see Claire Danvers from Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine, through the 15 books she grows as a person a helluva lot and stands up for what she thinks despite you know…vampires being against her as well some humans. Great series, you should go read it.

You Belong With Me: Pick your most anticipated book release.

Wild Hunger by Chloe Neill – its the spin off from Chicagoland Vampires and I am UNBELIEVABLY excited about this book.  know that there’s at least two spin off books, I’m praying for more personally. But I would HIGHLY recommend reading the Chicagoland Vampires series BEFORE reading the synopsis for Wild Hunger, you’ll spoil yourself otherwise.

Forever and Always: Pick your favorite book couple.

Its a beautiful love triangle actually Jem, Will and Tessa from The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare.

Come Back, Be Here: Pick the book you would least like to lend out, for fear of missing it too much.

I don’t lend out my books period. I used to, but that was with Morganville and for one of my friends who reads but isn’t a total bookworm. I have a hard enough time letting my mum borrow my books and she reads them in the house, where I have eyes on my precious books at all times, but its still hard.

Teardrops On My Guitar: Pick a book that made you cry a lot.

I cry more at books than songs or film/TV so lets see that epilogue on A Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare had me balling, I still ball my eyes out whenever I reread it. The Fault in Our Stars made me cry too god so many books made me cry when I think about it but those two are the top 2 for making me sob. Oh and I think of of the books in The Darkest Minds series by Alexandra Bracken made me sob.

Hope you enjoyed this tag. I tag whoever wants to do this, have fun doing it. And if you tag me in it somehow like maybe you found the tag through me and link back to this tag, I’ll pop over and say hi and leave you a comment. I’m nice like that. *smiles*
