TMI vs TID ~ Book Tag

I found this tag on Books and Writing Amino, for any who don’t know what that is, its an app geared towards readers and writers. Its a great little app, I love it. This tag was created by a user on there TheSwiftieReader and I decided to do it on here. Cause I’m going through a mad phase of tags, equally if you know of any tags you think I should do, feel free to tag me in them or comment them below.

Anyhoo this tag is all about The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices both series by Cassandra Clare, now I don’t know about you but TID always holds a special place in my heart so we’ll see the outcome.

Favourite Main Character: Clary or Tessa?

Tessa hands down.

Favourite Herondale: Jace or Will?

Erm…Will? Like how is that even a question, Will over Jace anyday, there’s just something about Will that makes my heart melt maybe its his witty lines and how he pushed those he loved away (all for a good reason though) but Will has part of my heart. Jem has the other part *smirks*

Favourite love triangle: Simon/Clary/Jace or Will/Tessa/Jem?

Lets be honest, Simon/Clary/Jace was never a proper love triangle, we all knew Clary and Simon weren’t gonna last, they’re meant to be best mates not boyfriend and girlfriend. That and Clary and Jace were VERY OBVIOUSLY in love with one another.

Will/Tessa/Jem again, this love triangle is a weird one, because Will and Jem are parabatai meaning they took part in this ritual and swore to always protect the other, etc. It also means they loved one another like brothers and when Tessa comes into the equation…well its like they can’t say fast enough that the other should have her. Its amusing to be honest, Jem and Will’s love for each other as brothers and then their love for one woman. God, can we just imagine this actually happening in real life? It would be so annoying, in book form though it works.

Anyhoo my answer is Will/Tessa/Jem.

Better villain: Sebastian or the Magister

Gotta be honest, The Magister sucked as a villain compared to Sebastian. Sebastian had so many layers to him, and was so well…evil and twisted, which I loved haha. Sebastian for the win.

Better army: The Dark Army or The Clockwork Army?

Again, for the time period in TID the Clockwork Army were quite intimidating and they were fast, skilled and robotic. The Dark Army though, well…its made up of Shadowhunters that have been unwillingly/willingly turned by Sebastian so The Dark Army I think, because you’re having to fight people you know, which makes it harder.

Better first book: City of Bones or A Clockwork Angel?

A Clockwork Angel.

Better female sidekick: Isabelle Lightwood or Cecily Herondale?

Well considering we didn’t get to see much of Cecily in action, its not exactly a fair comparison but I would have to say Isabelle because of the snake whip thing…you know what I mean. Its disguised as a bracelet and then BAM she’s causing chaos. Actually when you think about it, the squad from TMI caused more carnage than the TID squad…

Better last book: City of Heavenly Fire or A Clockwork Princess?

A Clockwork Princess.

Better Final Epilogue: City of Heavenly Fire or A Clockwork Princess?

A Clockwork Princess, I AM NEVER GOING TO BE OVER THAT EPILOGUE! *cries* Funnily enough I was talking to my best friend the other day about this ending, and how there is never going to be a right time to talk about what happened to someone. Because like, its just not ok. It still hurts even now, thinking about it.

Score:

TID – 6

TMI – 3

Not much of a shock to be honest, as TID is my favorite series haha. Feel free to do this tag, just link it back to mine so I know who’s done it and also so I can snoop and comment…I have a lot of spare time when I procrastinate, its an art *grins*
